8/06/10 Lufkin Police report

Drug Activity - 4300 Block South First Street: At approximately 2:50 A.M. on Friday, August 06, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to room number 248 at Quality Inn, located at 4306 South First Street, in reference to a report of suspicious persons.  According to the report, the guest staying in room 148 notified hotel employees that the fire sprinklers were going off in his room and that he had witnessed a male and a female running from room 248 and fleeing the area by vehicle.  The report stated that the responding Officers found present in room 248 chemicals indicating a methamphetamine lab had been operated in the room.  According to the report, the Officers cleared the area of all persons and Lufkin Police Department Narcotics Section Investigators responded to room to conduct an investigation and to process and collect the volatile chemicals.  The report stated that hotel employees provided the registration information for the room and that the incident was referred to Narcotics Section Investigators for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 3400 Block Nerren Avenue: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime during the previous week an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 3400 block of North John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the vehicle by unknown means and removed the vehicle's registration and inspection stickers.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1800 Block Sayers Street: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 12:30 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's Creekside apartment complex residence, located in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced open an entry door to the residence and removed from within the residence two televisions, two video gaming systems, a laptop computer, and multiple video game discs.  The report stated that incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 800 Block Martha Street: At approximately 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that earlier that date a known suspect assaulted the complainant at a residence located in the 800 block of Martha Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend, the father of one of the complainant's children, pushed and slapped her during a verbal altercation and that the she returned to Angelina Motel to contact Lufkin Police Department.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer did not observe visible injures to the complainant and was not able to locate the suspect, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Forgery - Las Vegas, Nevada: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that the complainant's bank account information had been fraudulently utilized by an actor(s) unknown to the complainant in Las Vegas, Nevada.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) withdrew several hundred dollars from the complainant's bank account.  The report stated that incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1800 Block Sayers Street: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime over the night of August 04, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Creekside apartment complex, located in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the unlocked vehicle and removed from the vehicle's dash a radio.  The report stated that the complainant discovered another vehicle's radio that she believed the actor(s) had left behind.  The report stated that evidence from the scene was collected and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 1200 Block West Frank Avenue: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 11:45 A.M. and 12:30 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) stole property from within the complainant's hospital room at Memorial Medical Center, located in the 1200 block of West Frank Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the room while he was being treated elsewhere within the hospital and removed from the room approximately thirty music discs.  The report stated that Memorial Medical Center Security personnel will review security camera captured video files and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1800 Block Sayers Street: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime over the night of August 04, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Creekside apartment complex, located in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the unlocked vehicle and removed from the vehicle's dash a radio.  The report stated that evidence from the scene was collected and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 700 Block Culverhouse Street: On Thursday, August 05, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 1:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 700 block of Culverhouse Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the complainant's residence by defeating the locking mechanism of an entry door and caused damage to a television inside of the residence by pouring onto it a substance the appeared to liquid soap.  The report stated that the complainant identified her ex-boyfriend as a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
