Texas Ranger completes investigation into Cushing disturbance

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Texas Rangers Office has completed its investigation into a disturbance at Cushing High School which involved the wife of Nacogdoches County Sheriff Thomas Kerss.

Nacogdoches County Attorney John Fleming said Sgt. Joe Haralson dropped off his findings on Friday. Fleming will review the investigation and said he hopes to finish it on Monday.

The Texas Rangers office was called in to investigate whether Kerss' wife, Codi Kerss, had inappropriately used a chemical agent to break up a fight.
