Police say Lufkin man is taken to Houston hospital after brothers assault him

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Police say a Lufkin man was assaulted by two brothers.

According to Cpl. Wes Ross with the Lufkin police department, detectives are investigating a physical confrontation between the three men, which ended with one being taken by helicopter to a Houston hospital.

Ross said the incident took place early Saturday morning at a Montrose Street residence.

Detectives are not releasing any names at this time, or information regarding the victim's condition.
