Lufkin woman stabs boyfriend, police say

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman was arrested Saturday afternoon following an altercation with her boyfriend, according to a police report.

The report states police responded to a call from Timethia Marchelle Williams, 23, on the 2800 block of Paul Avenue. Williams said there had been an altercation at a residence located in the 100 block of Woodmont Street with her boyfriend. The report states her boyfriend had punched her in the face and that she stabbed him with a knife.

The alleged victim was worried he would be arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant and fled the scene prior to officers' arrival, the report stated.

According to the report, witnesses reported Williams caused lacerations to her boyfriend's hands and stomach.

She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, a second degree felony.
