Lufkin man sentenced for shooting into house

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man pleaded guilty Tuesday to firing a gun into a home where two small children were playing back in Sept. 2009.

According to a previous report, Mark Anthony Lane, 20, fired the shots into the wall of the home on the 1200 block of Tom Temple Drive. Nobody was hurt.

Lane pleaded guilty in District Judge Paul White's courtroom to deadly conduct and burglary. As part of the plea agreement, he will serve 90 days in state jail and 10 years probation, among other terms.
