10/24/10 Lufkin Police report

DEAD ON SCENE - 700 Block of Hosea Dolphus: At approx. 2:30 a.m., Officers responded to the residence at 702 Hosea Dolphus St for a report of an unresponsive pregnant female not breathing.  24 y.o. Misty Gail Bryan was found by other residents of the home who called 9-1-1.  Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Ball.  No indications of foul play were found.  It was reported that Bryan suffered from asthma.  An autopsy will be completed sometime today.  

BURGLARY/Vehicle - 700 Block of Atkinson: Car lot owner reported three unlocked vehicles on the lot had been entered and approx. $900.00 in stereo equipment stolen from the vehicles.

TERRORIST THREAT - 1000 Block of South Third: Woman reported that another known female has been driving by her home making threats, and on the latest incident, had threatened to kill her.

BURGLARY/HAB - 1500 Block of Allendale Street: Man reported someone broke out a window of his home to gain entry.  Over $4,000.00 in property was reported to have been stolen from the residence including several computers, a game system, an MP3 player, and a handgun.

FORGERY - 3000 Block of South John Redditt: Woman reported that someone had cashed one of the personal checks that she had stolen from her several weeks ago, at a local check cashing business

THEFT - 3000 Block of South John Redditt: Loss prevention officer reported that while monitoring a known female shoplifter that had come into the store, he observed her conceal some headache powder and a candle in her purse and then leave the store without paying for the items.  He reported that when he confronted her outside the store, she returned the property but refused to remain there until police could arrive.
