TENAHA, TX (KTRE) – The Shelby County District Attorney's Office is asking for the public's help to find the culprit responsible for ransacking the Tenaha City Marshal's Office.

According to Assistant District Attorney Ken Florence, someone broke the window of one of the office's doors late Saturday or early Sunday morning.

Florence said he cannot disclose what items were stolen. He did confirm the office is filled with hundreds of city files and evidence lockers.

The D.A.'s office is assisting Texas Ranger Tom Davis in the investigation. If you have any information or saw anything suspicious, authorities urge you to call 936-598-2489.
