TYLER, TX (KLTV) - It is said that "a Marine may leave the Corps, but the Corps will never leave the Marines." The members of the newly charted Rose City Marine Corps league come from all walks of life. What they have in common is their pride in being Marines.

The U.S. Marine Corps was founded in 1923 and Federally charted in 1937. There is a lot of history at the get together from landings on the blood soaked beaches of the South Pacific in World War II through Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan and police actions in between. There are stories to tell and fallen buddies to remember.
