8/30/10 Lufkin Police report

Criminal Mischief - 4600 Block South Medford Drive:  On Sunday, August 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) damaged the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Lufkin Mall, located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) caused scratches to the vehicle's paint.  The report stated that the complainant identified a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 4400 Block South First Street:  On Sunday, August 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 1:00 P.M. that date currency was stolen from a cash register at a business located in the 4400 block of South First Street.  According to the report, video captured by the business' security video camera system will be reviewed, once available.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1300 Block Reen Drive:  On Sunday, August 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 8:00 P.M. on August 28, 2010 and 1:00 P.M. on August 29, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) damaged a fence outside of the complainant's residence, located in the 1300 block of Reen Drive.  According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) removed boards from the fence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 200 Block Hummingbird Lane:  On Sunday, August 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 8:00 P.M. on August 28, 2010 and 11:00 A.M. on August 29, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) damaged the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Hummingbird Lane.  According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) broke multiple eggs onto the exterior of the vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1800 Block Sayers Street:  On Sunday, August 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 1:30 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Creekside apartment complex, located in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging the vehicle's windows and removed from within the vehicle a makeup bag.  The report stated that the complainant identified a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
