The death toll is now five in Friday's crash of a light plane into a Los Angeles apartment building.
A fifth person was confirmed dead this morning as investigators continued to comb the wreckage.
It's not known if the latest confirmed victim was a building resident or a passenger on the six-seat plane -- or even whether the victim was male or female.
Authorities have not officially identified any of the victims, but one of the dead was believed to be a resident of the building.
At least three people were thought to have been on the plane, including the pilot, who was identified by the Los Angeles Times as the owner of a Santa Monica construction firm.
Jeffrey Siegel's family told the Times that Siegel and his 24-year-old niece had been flying to the family's second home in Sun Valley, Idaho.
