9/13/10 Lufkin Police Report

Burglary/Vehicle – 3900 Black North Medford Drive

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot at Rush Truck Center of Lufkin, located in the 3900 block of North Medford Drive. According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within the vehicle car audio equipment. The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence from the scene and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot at Lufkin Mall, located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive. According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within the vehicle recently purchased clothing and a portable music player. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle – 4600 South Medford Drive

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot at Lufkin Mall, located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive. According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within the vehicle a GPS receiver. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Debit Card Abuse – 100 Black North Timberland Drive

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) fraudulently utilized the complainant's credit card. According to the report, the complainant stated the credit card had been reported lost to the card issuer but a check of online billing records revealed that on September 10, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) made an unauthorized purchase at Walgreens, located in the 100 block of North Timberland Drive. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation – 100 Block Summerset Drive

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 4:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 100 block of Summerset Drive. According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging windows and removed from within the residence jewelry. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Incident/Information – 200 Block Lavan Street

At approximately 10:30 A.M. on Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime over the previous night an unidentified actor(s) drove a vehicle through the yard of the complainant's residence, located in the 200 block of Lavan Street.

Assault – 700 Black Industrial Boulevard

On Sunday, September 12, 2010, a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported that at approximately 7:45 A.M. that date known suspect assaulted the complainant at the complainant's place of employment, located in the 700 block of Industrial Boulevard. According to the report, the complainant stated that a co-worker kicked a tool causing the tool to strike the complainant's leg, but no injury occurred. The report stated that the complainant wished to pursue a charge of Class C Misdemeanor Assault and was directed to contact the Lufkin City Attorney's office.

    Temporarily calling the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter a home, Remi is hoping to find something a little more permanent. Caretakers said the one-year-old dog is playful and loves attention. Remi was brought into the shelter as a stray about three weeks ago. "He gets along with the other dogs.
