Singapore Official Says Arrests Thwarted Embassy Attacks

Officials in Singapore and Thailand say they have broken up a terrorist ring that was planning to bomb embassies in Thailand.

Police say three Thai men were arrested today in raids on their homes.

Officials allege the men are members of the group suspected in last year's deadly bombing on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.

The development follows the arrest last month in Bangkok of a man who's allegedly a senior member of the terror group.

Officials in Singapore alleged that he was planning attacks on the Singapore Embassy and four other embassies in Thailand.
