NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) – The oldest town in Texas is playing host this weekend to the 2010 OTT Motorcycle Rally, benefiting breast cancer research. Sunday is the final day of the huge event.
Roughly 5,000 bikers from all over Texas converged on the town for a good cause. Saturday's events included a parade, a fun ride through downtown Nacogdoches, followed by music and food at the Nacogdoches Exposition Center and Fairgrounds.
"We try to do as much as we can in the community and this is another way to reach out to the community and show folks that bikers are great people," said Darla O'Neill, Harley Officer with Texas Thunder.
It's not too late to participate. There will be live performances at the Expo Center until midnight Saturday and a full slate of activities scheduled for Sunday. The cost is $25 for the rest of the weekend.
This is the second year for the OTT Rally and organizers said it's bigger and better.
