ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman and Apple Springs man have been arrested for allegedly stealing a trailer and utility vehicle from an Angelina County man and his father.

According to an arrest affidavit, a man told the Angelina County Sheriff's Office on Sept. 16 that his trailer and his father's Kawasaki Mule were missing from his front yard.

A deputy placed the serial numbers of both items into a database and they were traced to Trinity County on Tuesday. Trinity County deputies placed Tiffany Kirksey Vines, 34, and Ben Limuel Foster, 59, into custody.

An Angelina County deputy then interviewed the two who confessed to stealing the property, the affidavit states.

Vines is the ex-wife and ex-daughter-in-law of the victims.

Both were booked into the Angelina County Jail Tuesday on theft charges.
