9/23/10 Lufkin Police report

Burglary/Habitation - 100 Block Broaddus Street: At approximately 11:40 P.M. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 12:30 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) forcibly entered the complainant's residence, located in the 100 block of Broaddus Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) damaged a window frame of the residence but, at the time of the report, the complainant did not detect any property missing from within the residence.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence from the scene and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 1600 Block Feagin Drive: At approximately 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 7:30 P.M. and 8:30 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) stole the complainant's portable media player from within the education building of St. Andrews Catholic Church, located in the 1600 block of Feagin Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he left his iPod Touch in the education building for approximately one hour and, when he returned, the iPod was missing.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Harassment - 800 Block East Denman Avenue: On Wednesday, September 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect threatened the complainant and the complainant's spouse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he became concerned for his and his spouse's safety when the female suspect stated during a telephone call that the complainant and the complainant's spouse needed to "watch their back".  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Forgery/Counterfeiting - 800 Block North Timberland Drive: On Wednesday, September 22, 2010, an employee of a business located in the 800 block of North Timberland Drive reported to Lufkin Police Department that between May 12, 2010 and May 15, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) passed multiple fraudulent checks at the business.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the business recently learned that during May of 2010 the account holder reported that a known female suspect stole the checks but, at the time of this report, it was not known if the same suspect passed the checks at this business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1100 Block Brady Street: At approximately 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to a residence located in the 1100 block of Brady Street in reference to an active burglar alarm and in reference to a call from a witness in the same area who described a suspicious person looking into residences.  According to the report, the caller described the suspect as a short, black, male wearing a "grayish or bluish" t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and tennis shoes.  The report stated that the Officers were unable to locate the suspect but found that the actor(s) breaking a window of the residence likely caused the burglar alarm to activate.  The report stated that the actor(s) did not enter into the residence and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
