The Flatliner Burger
4 slices of white bread (wheat if you are feeling healthy)
3 slices of American cheese
One 8 ounce hamburger patty
2 slices of bacon
Lettuce, pickle, tomato and onion
Your favorite spreads, mustard, mayo, etc.
Grill your hamburger. When 2/3rds finished with meat take two slices of the white bread, butter, place one slice of cheese between the two and make a grilled cheese sandwich. Do the same with the other two slices of bread.
While grilled cheese sandwiches are cooking, place the bacon on top of your burger and place the 3rd slice of cheese on top of the bacon.
When grilled cheese sandwiches are finished, place the patty on top of one and all of your fixings. Take the 2nd grilled cheese and place it on top for the second half of the hamburger bun.
You have just made a bacon cheeseburger in which the buns are two grilled cheese sandwiches.
