CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) – Corrigan Police have released the names of the drivers involved in a collision between an 18-wheeler and another vehicle.

"Gonzaleas was suffering from serious injuries and was taken by helicopter to a Tyler hospital," Chief Riley said.

Investigators are still working to determine exactly what caused the accident which happened on Friday.  At this time, no citations have been issued. The accident reduced traffic along Highway 59 to two lanes and at times brought traffic to a standstill. A Hazmat team was called in to help clear debris, including oil spilled from the vehicles.
