LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Pasadena woman was arrested Tuesday night after police say she offered an undercover officer sex in exchange of money.

According to the report, Lt. David Campbell, while operating in an undercover capacity with an undercover vehicle, encountered Jamie Danielle Fricks, 40, of Pasadena, in a parking lot near the North Chestnut Street and Groesbeck Avenue intersection. Fricks entered the vehicle and offered to engage in sexual conduct for a fee, directing Campbell to a nearby ATM for him to obtain cash, the report stated.

Once they arrived at the ATM on the 500 block of South Timberland Drive, Campbell exited the vehicle, came around to the passenger side and identified himself as a police officer and told Fricks she was under arrest.

According to the report, Fricks fought with Campbell as he tried to handcuff her and broke free from him. But Campbell managed to recapture her and held her until other officers arrived.

Fricks was booked into the Angelina County Jail on charges of prostitution and resisting arrest.
