BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) -

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A woman was arrested Wednesday after police say she attempted to steal two roach bombs from a Nacogdoches dollar store.

According to the police report, a Dollar General store clerk at 2003 South Street caught the shoplifter and called police. While police were on the way to the store, the woman tried to leave, so the clerk tried to stop her. The woman then began fighting the clerk in an attempt to get away and police arrived and took her into custody, the report stated.

When officers arrested her, they say she gave a false name. But when she was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail, she was identified as Mary Trevino.

Trevino is booked in the jail on a charge of robbery.
