ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County deputies said they expected more charges to be brought to a Lufkin man arrested for a house burglary in August. They followed up on it Friday.
According to an arrest affidavit, deputies arrested Darrell Lane, 21, and his uncle in connection to a burglary on the 3300 block of U.S. 69 North, on Aug. 2.
The affidavit states that while inventorying the duo's getaway car, deputies found a Dewalt table saw, a roll of red water pipe, a water pipe fitting tool and a Sears .5-inch drill. Deputies managed to connect the property to a man who lived on the 500 block of Paul Townsend Road, who was also burglarized in August.
An investigator obtained the affidavit on Thursday and Lane was booked into the Angelina County Jail on another burglary charge.
