Celebrating 58th annual Diboll Day

By Whitney Grunder - bio | email

DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) – It began in 1953, after local townspeople decided money was needed to fund projects for the growing number of children in the community.

Diboll Day remains a valued community tradition.

The 58th celebration included a parade, games, food, and special entertainment.

The Diboll Booster Club has raised four million dollars for the community since its origin.

Projects funded by Saturday's event include public swimming pools, a little league baseball complex, Old Orchard Park, a day care center and a library.
