Groveton man pleads guilty to Lufkin child porn charges

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Groveton man pleaded guilty Thursday in district court to child porn charges from a Lufkin incident.

A police officer caught Steven Brent Nobles, 35, on Rowe Avenue with photos of young boys in various states of undress and sexual positions.

As part of the plea agreement, Nobles will serve two concurrent two-year sentences in state prison.

Nobles was arrested again in July for other child pornography charges in Trinity County. That case is pending.

Nobles appeared today in Judge Gerald Goodwin's court.
