LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police have arrested a Lufkin man they had been looking for following a September confrontation in Cici's restaurant.

According to the report, a man and his wife were having dinner in Cici's on Sept. 17, around 5:50 p.m., when Charles David Nallie, walked by the man, who he did not know, and said, "What are you looking at, [racial slur]?"

Nallie and the man exchanged words and another man pulled out a switchblade and gave it to Nallie, according to the report. The man's wife then got Cici's management who escorted Nallie and the man who pulled out the knife out of the restaurant.

The report states the men waited outside the restaurant with baseball bats, but left before police arrived.

Police obtained a warrant for Nallie's arrest on Sept. 27 and an officer arrested him Thursday night when he saw him at the Love's Truck Stop in Lufkin.

Nallie was booked into the Angelina County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault.

Lt. David Young said an investigation is ongoing regarding charges against the man with the knife.
