LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to stealing a trailer and utility vehicle from her ex-husband and his father.
In exchange for her plea, Tiffany Kirksey Vines, 35, will serve three years probation and pay a $500 fine and restitution.
Vines was arrested in September when a man told the Angelina County Sheriff's Office on Sept. 16 that his trailer and his father's Kawasaki Mule were missing from his front yard.
A deputy placed the serial numbers of both items into a database and they were traced to Trinity County on Tuesday. Trinity County deputies placed Vines and Ben Limuel Foster, 59, into custody.
An Angelina County deputy then interviewed the two who confessed to stealing the property, the affidavit states.
