LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - Lufkin Police are investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries reported at Pilgrim's Pride Friday morning.

Cpl. Wesley Ross said the burglaries occurred between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. and a Dodge pickup, Chevy Tahoe and two Chevy pickups  were broken into.

A battery jump box in the Dodge was the only item reported stolen.

"In a couple, the windows were broken and in a couple others, the doors were just unlocked," Ross said. "Some of those cars, it appears they just rummaged through them and didn't take anything."

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate the incidents.
