NACOGDOCHES (KTRE) – He is the gunslinger from Baytown, Texas who slings the ball all over the field for the SFA Lumberjacks. Senior quarterback Jeremy Moses is a menace to defensive coordinators across the Southland Conference as he continues to rewrite the SFA record books.
"In this offense you have to have a great offensive line and five guys running routes that know what they're doing or nothing is going to work, Moses said. "If you looked at Sam Houston we had guys running down the field running wide open but we also had seven guys blitzing coming in and if you don't pick up all those guys I have no time to get the ball off. So it's really a team effort every pass, every play, every touchdown it takes all eleven guys doing the right thing."
So far this season Moses has set new conference records for completions with 1,042, touchdown passes 107, passing yards 11,686, and total offense 11,403 yards. Moses ranks in the top sixteen in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision in all four categories. SFA is currently 6-1 and have won six straight games. Homecoming game is this Saturday at 2pm against Texas State who is winless in the conference and 3-4 overall and having lost four straight games.
Jeremy Moses is your Jack of the Week.
