Nacogdoches man charged in DWI hit-and-walk

BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) -

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police arrested a man Thursday for allegedly trying to walk away from a wreck in Oakhill Plaza.

According to the police report, Ted Wayne Arriola, 50, of Nacogdoches, was driving a vehicle and struck a parked vehicle. He then exited his vehicle and attempted to walk off, according to the report.

Police determined Arriola was intoxicated and arrested him.

The driving while intoxicated charge is at least the third for him, so the charge is enhanced to a third-degree felony. He is also charged with the misdemeanor offense of failure to stop and render aid.
