10/29/2010 Lufkin Police Report

10-29-2010 Assault          700 Block Moore Avenue

On Friday, October 29, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 3:00 A.M. that date a known male suspect assaulted the complainant and the complainant's daughter inside of the complainant's residence, located in the 700 block of Moore Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend pushed her and her six-year-old daughter and prevented her daughter leaving the residence to use a neighbor's telephone to contact law enforcement.  The report stated that when the suspect left the scene the complainant used a neighbor's telephone to contacted Lufkin Police Department, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Harassment  200 Block East Lufkin Avenue

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect threatened to cause injury to the complainant.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during July of 2010 she received threatening text messages from the suspect, who is the ex-wife of the complainant's boyfriend, and that the suspect threatened her in-person on October 28, 2010 at Angelina County Courthouse, located in the 200 block of East Lufkin Avenue.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Forgery         300 Block Brentwood Drive

At approximately 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that two unidentified suspects attempted to pass a forged check at a bank located in the 300 block of Brentwood Drive.  According to the report, the complainant, an employee of the bank, stated that the suspects, a white female with brown hair and a white male, appeared at the bank's drive-thru and attempted to fraudulently pass a check.  The report stated that the owner of the check had, approximately two week prior to that date, reported to the bank that the check was stolen during a vehicle burglary so the employee refused to accept the check and the suspects fled the area driving a white, older model Buick.  The report stated that Lufkin Police Department Officers were unable to locate the suspects and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Forgery         100 Block Champions Drive

At approximately 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that two unidentified suspects attempted to pass a forged check at a bank located in the 100 block of Champions Drive.  According to the report, the complainant, an employee of the bank, stated that the suspects, a white female with brown hair and a white male, appeared at the bank's lobby and drive-thru and attempted to fraudulently pass a check.  The report stated that the owner of the check had previously reported to Angelina County Sheriff's Office and to the bank that the check was among several stolen by a known male suspect so the employee refused to accept the check and the suspects fled the area driving a white, older model Buick.  The report stated that Lufkin Police Department Officers were unable to locate the suspects and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Terroristic Threat     800 Block Abney Avenue

At approximately 4:25 P.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported that at approximately 4:00 P.M. that date an unidentified male suspect threatened the complainant in the 800 block of Abney Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the unidentified male suspect pointed at the complainant a handgun.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Burglary/Vehicle     4600 Block South Medford Drive

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 9:00 P.M. and 11:30 P.M. on October 23, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the Lufkin Mall parking lot, located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was not aware that the vehicle had been burglarized and that a Garmin brand GPS receiver was stolen from within the vehicle until a Nacogdoches Police Department Officer informed her that the GPS receiver was found in a Nacogdoches, Texas pawn shop.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Burglary/Habitation     500 Block Renfro Drive

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 4:30 A.M. and 2:20 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 500 block of Renfro Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging a window and removed from within the residence a 50-inch television and several firearms, including; a Daewoo brand 9mm handgun, an SKS brand rifle, a Remington brand pump-action 12-ga. Shotgun, a Marlin brand 30-30 rifle, a .22 Hornet rifle, a Hawkins .50 cal. black powder rifle, and a .22 cal. handgun.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer processed the residence for evidence and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

10-28-2010 Theft     2800 Block South John Redditt Drive

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on October 12, 2010 a known female suspect stole several hundred dollars worth of merchandise from a business located in the 2800 block of South John Redditt Drive.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
