11/2/2010 Lufkin Police Report

11-01-2010 Assault/A      1800 Block Old Mill Road

At approximately 11:15 P.M. on Monday, November 01, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of Old Mill Road in reference to report of a disturbance that had just occurred.  According to the report, the female caller stated that her estranged husband and her boyfriend engaged in a physical altercation and her boyfriend left the residence.  The report stated that the responding Officers located the boyfriend at a separate location, that the involved persons provided differing accounts of the reported incident, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Burglary/Habitation     2100 Block Nile Street

On Monday, November 01, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on 8:00 A.M. and 7:15 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence, located in the 2100 block of Nile Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by removing a pane of glass from a window but, at the time of the report, the complainant was unaware of what, if any, property was removed from within the residence.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence from the scene and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Criminal Mischief     1000 Block Ellis Avenue

On Monday, November 01, 2010, a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported that between on 7:00 P.M. on October 31, 2010 and 6:00 P.M. on November 01, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) broke eggs upon the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 1000 block of Ellis Avenue.  The report stated that the complainant was advised to prevent damage to the vehicle's paint by washing the egg residue from the vehicle as soon as possible, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Harassment  200 Block South Timberland Drive

On Monday, November 01, 2010, an employee of a business located in the 200 block of South Timberland Drive reported to Lufkin Police Department since approximately October 16, 2010 an unidentified suspect has harassed the employees of the business by making obscene statements during telephone calls to the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Burglary/Vehicle     2500 Block Daniel McCall Drive

At approximately 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 01, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 5:00 A.M. and 5:30 A.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Walmart, located in the 2500 block of Daniel McCall Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was shopping within Walmart the actor(s) entered into the vehicle through a sliding glass window and removed from within the vehicle prescription medication and the complainant's wallet, which contained the complainant's driver's license, social security card, debit card, and currency.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Theft/C         800 Block Atkinson Drive

At approximately 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 01, 2010, an employee of a business located in the 800 block of Atkinson Drive reported to Lufkin Police Department that approximately thirty minutes earlier that date an unidentified suspect removed two, thirty-count packages of beer from within the business without making payment.  According to the report, the complainant provided a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Burglary/Habitation     800 Block Duren Street

On Monday, November 01, 2010, complainants reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on 8:00 A.M. and 12:30 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized two residences located in the 800 block of Duren Street.  According to the report, the complainants stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residences by damaging entry doors and removed at least one rifle from within one of the residences.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers collected evidence from the scene and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Criminal Trespass     500 Block Park Lane

On Monday, November 01, 2010, complainants reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 8:55 A.M. that date an unidentified suspect entered into her residence, located in the 500 block of Park Lane.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she did not respond to a knock at her front door but yelled out when she heard the suspect open the unlocked door, and then she saw the suspect fleeing on-foot through her back yard.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers were unable to locate the suspect, described by the complainant as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and blue jean pants, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-01-2010 Theft/C         900 Block South John Redditt Drive

At approximately 5:00 A.M. on Monday, November 01, 2010, an employee of a business located in the 900 block of South John Redditt Drive reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified suspect removed two, thirty-count packages of beer from within the business without making payment.  According to the report, the complainant provided a description of the suspect's vehicle and the vehicle's license plate but the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.  According to the report, at approximately 5:30 P.M. that date, a uniformed Lufkin Police Department Officer traveling to the police station to begin his shift saw the suspect vehicle and, when the vehicle stopped in the 500 block of Kiln Avenue, identified the driver.  The report stated that the driver denied involvement in the earlier theft and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
