LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman pleaded no-contest Tuesday afternoon to three counts of sexual assault of a child.
In Judge Gerald Goodwin's courtroom, Trishana Broussard, 37, pleaded to the charges with the understanding she would be sentenced to three six-year sentences, to be served concurrently.
Goodwin told Broussard that if she did not show up for the formal sentencing on Nov. 30, the sentences would be upgraded to 20 years.
Huntington Police arrested Broussard in Jan. 2009 on charges of sexual assault on a child. A grand jury indicted her on the charges in Feb. 2010. Police say she engaged in oral sex with three teen-aged boys.
