LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon to cooking meth in a home with children.
As part of the plea agreement, Amber Weatherly will serve five years probation and pay a $600 fine for possession of certain chemicals and four years probation and pay a $500 fine for endangering a child.
Weatherly was arrested on the charges in February. According to a previous report, Angelina County Sheriff's deputies uncovered the meth lab in a camper directly adjacent to a child daycare facility.
Deputies served the warrants following tips on stolen property and the meth lab. They suspected some of the evidence was destroyed as they heard toilets flushing during the bust.
Four children lived at the home.
