ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Mexico Linda on Temple Drive in Diboll is slammed with 36 demerits. The walk-in cooler is several degrees below the correct temperature.The inspector demanded that food in the freezer be tossed-out immediately. Non-food containers were being used for chips.The restaurant was also told to repair the sinks as soon as possible. Also with that an order to exterminate flies were found around food. 

Over on Timberland Drive in Lufkin, not much better. 21 demerits for the Lunch Box. In the bathroom and the dining room.They need to replace cardboard in the ceiling, with a proper ceiling tile. Perishable food items need to be marked with dates and times.The drain in the kitchen sink needs to be unclogged and the fountain drink nozzles and ice machine need to be cleaned.

Next as many as 20 demerits at Lufkin Lanes on Chestnut Drive. Ceiling tiles there also need to be replaced in the bar area... Plus some cleaning under equipment.Inspectors docked them for a bug problem and ordered the bowling alley to exterminate. Food needs to be cleaned properly and the ice machine needs to be sanitized.

    A female juvenile who has been missing from Shreveport, LA since Dec.19, 2016, turned herself into the Shelby County Sheriff's Office Saturday morning.  According to Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell, around 10:47 a.m. Natalyia Theresa Rogers entered the SCSO and spoke with Deputy Peter Davis. Rogers told Davis that she had been staying in Center with Samantha Nix. Rogers said that she turned herself in because she was in need of medications and was starting to harm herse...
