ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Mexico Linda on Temple Drive in Diboll is slammed with 36 demerits. The walk-in cooler is several degrees below the correct temperature.The inspector demanded that food in the freezer be tossed-out immediately. Non-food containers were being used for chips.The restaurant was also told to repair the sinks as soon as possible. Also with that an order to exterminate flies were found around food.

Over on Timberland Drive in Lufkin, not much better. 21 demerits for the Lunch Box. In the bathroom and the dining room.They need to replace cardboard in the ceiling, with a proper ceiling tile. Perishable food items need to be marked with dates and times.The drain in the kitchen sink needs to be unclogged and the fountain drink nozzles and ice machine need to be cleaned.
