Nacogdoches man allegedly threatens officers during arrest

BEAUMONT, TX (News Release) -

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches man already in trouble after police say he assaulted a woman has a felony charge on the book after he allegedly threatened officers.

According to the police report, the woman reported the assault on Mitchell Street. When officers arrived, they attempted to arrest Michael Glenn Burgin, 31, of Nacogdoches, but he resisted, then threatened the officers.

Burgin was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on misdemeanor charges of assault, resisting arrest, interference with an emergency call and a felony charge of retaliation.
