11/9/2010 Lufkin Police Report

11-09-2010 Burglary/Building   500 Block North Timberland Drive

At approximately 2:50 A.M. on Tuesday, November 09, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to Jack's Records and Tapes, located in the 500 block of North Timberland Drive, in reference to a burglary of the building.  According to the report, an unidentified actor(s) damaged the glass entry doors to the business and removed from within the building several DVD discs.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010 Burglary/Habitation   1600 Block Howard Avenue

On Monday November 08, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence, located in the 900 block of South Second Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging an entry door at the rear of the residence and removed from within the residence a diamond pendant necklace and a Cannon brand digital camera.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010 Burglary/Habitation   500 Block North Warren Street

On Monday November 08, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on 8:40 A.M. and 2:15 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence, located in the 500 block of North Warren Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging a window of the residence and removed from within the residence a fifty-two-inch Sanyo brand television.  The report stated that a neighbor reported seeing a blue vehicle parked in the driveway of the burglarized residence, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010    Burglary/Vehicle   900 Block South Second Street

On Monday, November 08, 2010, an employee of a home furnishing rental company reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 1:40 P.M. and 1:50 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Courtyard apartment complex, located in the 900 block of South Second Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he was repossessing a thirty-seven-inch Toshiba brand television from an apartment within the complex and had left the television in his unlocked company vehicle while he returned to the apartment.  The report stated that the actor(s) removed the television from within the vehicle.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence from the vehicle, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010 Burglary/Vehicle   4600 Block South Medford Drive

On Monday, November 08, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 12:00 P.M. and 12:40 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of Lufkin Mall, located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed from within the vehicle a touch-screen car radio.  The report stated that a witness provided the description of a possible suspect and the suspect's vehicle, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010 Burglary/Habitation   600 Block Myrtie Street

At approximately 7:50 A.M. on Monday November 08, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between on 1:00 A.M. and 2:00 A.M. that date the complainant woke to find an unidentified suspect entering the complainant's residence, located in the 600 block of Myrtie Street, by crawling through a window.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he yelled at the suspect and the suspect fled on-foot from the residence, but the complainant waited six hours to contact law enforcement.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-08-2010 Burglary/Vehicle   700 Block Neches Street

On Monday, November 08, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 12:00 A.M. and 6:40 A.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Neches Street and removed from within the unlocked vehicle a wallet.  According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence from the scene and found the complainant's wallet and its contents by searching the area.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
