Man dies in Nacogdoches Co. wreck

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Bryan man died Monday morning after hydroplaning and crashing into a tree on State Highway 7 East in Nacogdoches County.

According to the Department of Public Safety report, Michael Gaylon Heatly, 24, was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup about six miles east of Nacogdoches, at 6:08 a.m. when he hydroplaned, lost control, left the road and struck a tree.

He was pronounced dead on the scene at 6:30 a.m.

He was wearing a seatbelt.
