Firefighters fighting blaze on Fairview Circle

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Angelina County firefighters are fighting a house fire in the southeast portion of the county.

Firefighters say it started on the bottom floor of a two-story house. By the time they arrived, flames were visible through the roof.

Timothy Hamilton said he and his family of six had lived at the Fairview Circle home for two years and were in the process of buying the house. He said nobody was in the house when the fire started.

At 12:30 p.m., firefighters with Diboll, Moffett and Fuller Springs were putting out small flames around the house.

Hamilton said he had returned home Monday to find firefighters working to put out the fire.

Fuller Springs Assistant Volunteer Fire Chief Bobby Cranford said they were called to the house at 10:30 a.m. A cause had not been determined.
