11-16-2010 Burglary/Vehicle  1700 Block North First Street

On Tuesday, November 16, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 5:00 P.M. on November 15, 2010 and 1:50 A.M. on November 16, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked outside of the complainant's residence, located in the 1700 block of North First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the unlocked vehicle and removed a Pioneer brand car audio receiver, several music discs, and currency from within a purse left by the complainant inside of the vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Evading        1100 Block North Timberland Drive

At approximately 6:45 P.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010, a Lufkin Police Department officer responded to a reported in-progress disturbance at Petty's Motel, located at 1112 North Timberland Drive in Lufkin, and upon arrival at the motel the officer located the suspect, described and named by the complainant, seated on the curb at North Timberland Drive.  Lufkin Municipal Court holds outstanding Class C Misdemeanor warrants for the suspects arrest but the suspect fled on-foot when approached by the uniformed officer.  The suspect disregarded the officer's commands to stop and, after a several-block-long foot chase in the rain, eluded the officer.  Officers were unable to locate the suspect and will seek a warrant for his arrest for the offense of Evading Arrest or Detention, a Class A Misdemeanor.  The report stated that the female complainant regarding the disturbance was uncooperative with the officers and would not provide information regarding the reported disturbance.

11-15-2010 Fraud            800 Block North Timberland Drive

On Monday, November 15, 2010 a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported that a known suspect fraudulently refilled the complainant's a prescription for medication at a pharmacy located in the 800 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that when she attempted to refill her prescription for pain medication she learned that the prescription had been refilled on November 11, 2010.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she reviewed video files captured by the pharmacy's security video camera system and recognized the suspect as her twenty-nine-year-old nephew.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Harassment  1400 Block Sayers Street

On Monday, November 15, 2010 a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that the mother of his child repeatedly sent harassing messages to his Facebook.com account and refused to discontinue the messages when he directed her to do so.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Burglary/Vehicle       900 Block Weaver Avenue

At approximately 12:30 P.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. on November 14, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked outside of the complainant's residence, located in the 900 block of Weaver Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the unlocked vehicle and removed a purse left by the complainant on the rear floor of the vehicle; the complainant stated that the stolen purse contained the complainant's driver's license, Social Security card, identification card, and debit cards.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Theft             2300 Block North John Redditt Drive

At approximately 10:45 A.M. on Monday, November 15, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 6:30 P.M. on November 09, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) stole from within the complainant's residence, located in the 2300 block of North John Redditt Drive, currency intended to pay the complainant's rent.  According to the report, the complainant identified family members as possible suspects and stated that she did not report the incident at the time of occurrence but that the local charity from which she is seeking assistance for paying her rent requires that she report the incident to law enforcement.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation. members as possible suspects and stated that she did not report the incident at the time of occurrence but that the local charity from which she is seeking assistance for paying her rent requires that she report the incident to law enforcement.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Burglary/Vehicle       900 Block North Timberland Drive

On Monday, November 15, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 6:30 P.M. on November 13, 2010 and 9:20 A.M. on November 15, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized two vehicles while the vehicles were parked outside of a business, located in the 900 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into an unlocked vehicle and removed a car audio receiver, and that the actor(s) forced entry into another vehicle by damaging a window and removed from within that vehicle a car audio receiver.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

11-15-2010 Burglary/Habitation       300 Block Arena Street

On Monday, November 15, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 8:00 P.M. on November 12, 2010 and 6:30 A.M. on November 15, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 300 block of Arena Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed from within the locked residence numerous items, but the responding Lufkin Police Department officer did not detect any sings that entry into the residence was forced.  According to the report, the complainant listed the property stolen as an HP brand desktop computer with a twenty-three-inch monitor, a thirty-two-inch RCA brand flat-panel television, a Sony brand PlayStation 3 gaming console, a Sony brand PlayStation 2 gaming console, a Nintendo brand Wii gaming console, a Blu-ray disc player, a Black & Decker brand rechargeable circular saw, a computer printer, a computer scanner, and two portable computer drives.  The report stated that a Lufkin Police Department Crime Scene Technician collected evidence from the scene and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
