NACOGDOCHES COUNTY (KTRE) - A Sugar Land man is in stable condition after crash landing his airplane in Nacogdoches County late Sunday morning.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Jeffrey Clarke, 63, was flying his Piper Cessna II from Sugar Land to Shreveport when both engines lost fuel pressure. The pressure loss caused both engines to lose RPMs.
Clarke attempted an emergency landing at the Nacogdoches County airport around 11:35 AM. He ended up crashing north of the runway on fm 225 and county road 711.
The pilot is in stable condition with a back injury in the Nacogdoches Medical Center.
