Milton Burton's first crime novel "The Rogue's Game" was a success right out of the starting gate and his newest novel "Nights Of The Red Moon," promises to be the same. Although Burton has other published works, it's crime writing that fascinates him. He points out that most of Shakespeare's plays such as "Hamlet" and "Othello", are actually crime stories.

The title of "Nights Of The Red Moon", comes from Cherokee Indian lore about the effects of dry Fall weather and the red moon it produces. Burton, who says his biggest fans are his family, insists writing isn't about money, it's about love of writing.
