Mount Enterprise High School Named Army Strong

Mount Enterprise, Texas – November 29, 2010 – Dave Campbell's Texas Football is proud to announce that the Mount Enterprise High School Wildcats football team has been named the Army Strong Team of the Week for 1A.

The Wildcats were chosen for this honor because of their teamwork, dedication, discipline, personal courage and integrity, values shared by U.S. Army Soldiers.

"Mount Enterprise looked especially sharp in round three, downing regional favorite Chilton, 37-21, and continuing to add to its growing postseason legacy. Mount Enterprise had just one playoff win in its history before this season, but now has three in 2010 alone," said Adam Hochfelder, general manager of Dave Campbell's Texas Football. "This game was actually tied in the fourth quarter, 21-21, but Mount Enterprise ripped the game open with 16 points and a flawless defensive performance to put favored Chilton away for good."

The award will be presented to the team at a time to be determined later this week by a representative of the U.S. Army.

"The U.S. Army is recognizing the student-athletes at Mount Enterprise High School for demonstrating qualities similar to those exhibited by its Soldiers. Student-athletes and Soldiers share similar values, but more importantly they must be mentally, emotionally and physically strong," said CPT Anthony Whittaker. "We expect to see some of these young men competing at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the college level, or maybe even professionally in the future."
