LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - A judge sentenced a Lufkin woman Tuesday to three six-year prison terms for engaging in sexual activity with teen-aged boys.

Trishana Broussard, 37, pleaded no-contest to the charges on Nov. 2, but Judge Gerald Goodwin waited until Monday to sentence her to the three counts of sexual assault of a child.

Huntington Police arrested Broussard in Jan. 2009 on charges of sexual assault on a child. A grand jury indicted her on the charges in Feb. 2010. Police say she engaged in oral sex with three teen-aged boys.

"Just relieved," one of the victim's family members said. "I'm relieved that it's over, I'm glad that justice has finally been served and she's where she belongs now where she can't hurt children anymore."

Broussard will be eligible for parole in about three years.

She will also have to register as a sex offender for life.
