(STORM TRACKER WEATHER CENTER): After a couple of cold mornings and cool afternoons, our temperatures will be warming up as we round out the week and head into the weekend.
As winds start blowing in off the Gulf of Mexico, look for both our overnight lows and afternoon highs to climb the proverbial ladder.
By Friday, our highs will be near 70, and we could be looking at lower 70's on Saturday. This warm-up will come ahead of our next cold front, which is slated to arrive on Saturday night.
If you are wanting to make outdoor plans this weekend, Saturday will be partly cloudy and warm, while Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy and much cooler.
If you are looking for something fun to do on Saturday, come out to the Nine Flags Festival in Nacogdoches. Our very own KTRE Consolidated Communications Mobile Studio will be there on sight between 4-8pm. Make sure you stop by our mobile studio and say hello.
