Bacon-wrapped scallops from Cooking Up a Storm's Grant

2 pound of bay scallops

1 pound of thin sliced bacon

Olive oil

Garlic powder

Seasoning salt

Aioli Dressing

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Cut your thin sliced bacon in half and place strips on a cookie sheet.  Cook in the over for 8 minutes until partially done but still limp.  Put bacon aside and drain the excess grease.

Once the bacon has cooled, wrap one slice around each scallop and hold together with a tooth pick.  Season the scallops with garlic powder and seasoning salt.  Once this is done sear each scallop in olive oil over medium high heat for 2 minutes on each side.  Once seared, place on a cookie sheet and bake in your 375 degree oven for 15 minutes.  Serve with Aioli Dressing and enjoy.
