ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin man said to be one East Texas' most prolific meth cooks was arrested again Friday morning when deputies served a warrant on his home on FM 842.

Sgt. Allen Hill said David Arthur Dunman Jr., 51, was sleeping at about 9:15 a.m. when deputies arrived and served an arrest warrant.

Hill said deputies found components of a meth lab and eight grams of finished meth.

As Dunman was being transferred to the Angelina County Jail, Hill said he collapsed, so he was taken to a Lufkin hospital for treatment.

Dunman will be charged with possession of certain chemicals with the intent to manufacture and possession of a controlled substance.

Dunman was arrested in September following a two-year investigation. At the time, he had no previous drug arrests.

Hill said Dunman posted a $101,500 bond and went back to cooking almost immediately. He had made fake identification cards to buy pseudoephedrine, Hill said, and neighbors began complaining about traffic coming into the house.
