LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Their revving their engines for a good cause. The Lufkin, Huntington and Nacogdoches chapters of the Gypsy motorcycle club hosted a toy run and food drive Saturday morning.

Riders met at Clawson Assembly of God Church in Pollok, and headed for the Family Crisis Center to deliver toys, food, and monetary donations for families and children in need.

"We're taking a lot of non-perishable items up there and the kids are going to have a wonderful Christmas. As you can see, we have 53 bikes here today and I mean a lot of people are showing their love," said Billy Burch, President of the Lufkin chapter.

The bikers raised more than $200 in donations, and hundreds of dollars worth of brand new toys, and food items.
