ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A Lufkin man convicted of two child sex crimes was arrested Monday after authorities say he moved without giving notice.
Christopher Wayne Tilley, 23, is charged with failure to comply to sex offender registration.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Hudson Police learned in August through an anonymous tip that Tilley was no longer living in Hudson and had moved to another residence in Angelina County.
The warrant states law enforcement tried to contact Tilley but could not locate him.
On Dec. 6, Vernia Parish, La., authorities notified Hudson Police that Tilley was living in Leesville, La., and had been arrested on unrelated charges.
Texas law states sex offenders must notify law enforcement within seven days of their intent to move from a previously registered address.
Tilley was convicted in 2001 of sexual assault charges against a seven-year-old boy and five-year-old girl.
