San Jacinto authorities: Man shoots his kids, kills son

SAN JACINTO COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

SAN JACINTO COUNTY, Texas (Press release) - On Monday at 5 p.m., San Jacinto County Sheriff's Department was called to assist in a felony arrest warrant at 21 Red Bird Lane, Coldspring, Texas, by the Texas Attorney General's Office's Cyber Crime Task Force, along with the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force out of Harris County. Once officers cleared the first story of the residence and had gained entry into the second story, gun shots were heard coming from the rear of the residence.

Upon the arrest of Predrag Perisic, officers found a 10-year-old male and a 12-year-old female with injuries resulting from gunshots inflicted by their father. The 10-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Livingston ER and the 12-year-old female was life-flighted to Hermann Memorial in Houston, Texas.

The 10-year-old male was pronounced deceased at Livingston ER. The 12-year-old female at the time of this statement was in stable condition.

Predrag Perisic was arrested for interference with child custody out of Harris County and is also charged with murder in San Jacinto County. The Harris County warrant is a no-bond and the murder charge is a $1 million bond. The murder case is still under investigation at this time.
