NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Three Nacogdoches County residents were arrested Monday afternoon after they tried to hide a wanted felony suspect in a residence.

Sheriff Thomas Kerss said deputies were looking for Randy Allen Jordan, 41, of Nacogdoches, on a charge of motion to revoke probation. Kerss said they spotted him going into a residence on County Road 256. They knocked on the door, but nobody answered. After repeated warnings, they kicked down the door and saw Sandy Michelle Blackshire, 37, of Garrison, Samantha Anne Simpson, 39, of Nacogdoches, and Dwain Lee Stewart, 42, of Nacogdoches, in the room, Kerss said.

The trio told deputies they had no knowledge of Jordan being in the house, Kerss said. They then went to a door that was locked shut from the outside and had to break it down.

The deputies found Jordan hiding in a compartment under the bed, Kerss said.

Blackshire, Simpson and Stewart are charged with hindering apprehension.
