CUSHING, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County law enforcement is investigating an overnight bank burglary at a bank in Cushing.
Sheriff Thomas Kerss said surveillance video shows at least two masked burglars broke into Longview Bank and Trust, located at 877 7th Street, and used a crowbar to open teller's stations and an ATM machine.
Kerss said the burglars got away with a small amount of cash and fled the scene.
"We're not going to rule out anything at this time, but we don't believe these were local actors," Kerss said. "And the way they did this, it appears they used a lot of planning and coordination into this crime."
